Thank you for visiting my website! I am a freelance writer with experience in a wide variety of topics and formats. Over the past number of years I have written everything from long form, researched feature articles for print magazines to quick and snappy web advertising content for new and existing brands. I use mainly the Fiverr platform to connect with and fulfill orders for my clients.

 

A few years back I held a remote job doing copywriting, marketing and merchandising for Luxe Catch, a monthly subscription box company for designer clothing. In this role I was responsible for writing articles for blog posts as well as brand promotion through emails, social media, surveys/forums, and influencer research. During this time I also wrote feature articles for the quarterly magazine, Dekad Lifestyle.

 

Previously, I’ve worked as a copywriter for Bon-Bon New York, a local small business boutique. Here, I wrote copy for the store including informational handouts, product descriptions, and web content as well as managed the store’s Instagram, blog and other social media accounts. I also collaborated with a small web team taking photos of new merchandise and editing them in Photoshop to ensure clean, color correct images. At the same time I held a second job as Office Manager at McKownville United Methodist Church. I was valued by the Pastor and trustees as a critical support pillar for the team, producing the weekly bulletins for two services as well as slideshow presentations and graphics to accompany them. I also curated and produced a monthly newsletter and maintained the church website and event calendar.

 

The summer after I graduated from college (2015) I spent eight weeks abroad in Madrid, Spain completing a writing, reporting and media internship with Guidepost Magazine, the oldest and dean of English-speaking publications in Spain. During this time I researched and attended live events and wrote compelling feature articles for the English-speaking audience in Spain. I also worked on a social media promotion team and took photos/created videos to accompany my articles and the articles of my fellow interns.
